A companion tablet application for the same mixed-reality driving simulator at NXRT. My role on it was developer. The application is built with UI Toolkit and with raw C# sockets, and it streams live video from the mixed-reality headset to an operator’s tablet.
The person running a session needs to see what the person wearing the headset sees. The tablet is that view. Sockets carry the stream. UI Toolkit draws the tablet interface.
The evidence is the company’s own published video, not my capture. NXRT filmed it at a Hyundai showroom. The video is public: vimeo.com/797280870. The stand holding the tablet against the car door is running this application. The frames on this page come from that footage, and they belong to NXRT.
